Job Description

Title: Compensation and Benefits Analyst
Business Card Title: Compensation and Benefits Analyst
Reports To: Human Resource Manager

Purpose: 
Provide support for the administration of compensation, health plans, ensures the competitiveness of these programmes by conducting simple-to-complex analyses of plan options and effectiveness, develops presentation and communication materials for compensation and benefit programmes, maintains the integrity of compensaton and benefits information in HRIS system and assists in implementing programme initiatives.

Essential Duties: 

Benefits

  • Coordinates the transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration.
  • Reconciles benefit plan sto vendor databases and investigates and resolves data discrepancies with HRIS system.
  • Prepares simple to complex spreadsheet analyses on health and benefit plan option, cost/benefits and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development of communication tools such as PowerPoint slides to enhance understanding of the company’s benefit plans.
  • Keep records and generate reports and other law requirements. Assure compliance NPA, GRA and Momentum.
  • Assist with development and production of annual benefits reports
  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.

Compensation

  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data for impact on compensation programme.
  • Assist in job pricing and salary reviews, including researching and analysing data in order to propose new compensation.
  • Assist in creating job descriptions and maintains job description database.
  • Assist in administering compensation programmes and maintaining the integrity of data in HRIS system and spreadsheets.
  • Create reports spreadsheet reports and conduct compensation analyses to support compensation programmes and initiatives.
  • Runs reports fromHRIS system in support of compensation data/project requirements.
  • Complete monthly payroll for all employees
  • Working Conditions: No special working conditions apply

Required Skills or Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience in the analysis, and administration of benefits and compensation programmes.
  • Knowledge of health insurance and pertinent legal requirements, plus local laws and regulations that impact human resources and the employment relationship.
  • General compensation knowledge required.
  • Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Outlook,
  • Word, Excel, and Power Point required, Excel at the expert level.
  • Persol experience is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills, detailed orientation, resourcefulness and strong organisation skills.
  • Sense of urgency, quick turnaround and strong follow-up skills are required.
