Job Description

Following an organisational restructuring exercise under the auspices of the Public Sector Reform Secretariat with funding from the World Bank, the following position have become vacant.

Duty Station: To Be Agreed

Reports Directly to: Production Officer

Major Functions:

• Perform work in the welding and fabrication sections of workshops in the GRATIS network
• Liaise with collegue metal machining technicians to ensure prompt delivery or quality jobs
• Undertake routine maintenance of welding and fabrication equipment
• Train apprentices

Required Skills or Experience

• GRATIS trained technicians holding GRATIS-Ghana Education Service/Technical Examinations Unit Craft Certificate
• Minimum of Mechanical Engineering Craft Practice (MECP) Part 1 or Mechanical Engineering Technician (MET) Part 1 or National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) Trade Test Grade 1
