Job Description

The successful candidate will operate HDPE fusion machines, operate equipment, monitor pumps and work safely.

Essential Duties:

• Install, monitor and operate various dewatering pumps
• Welding HDPE pipes from 150 to 315mm
• Operate various equipment for moving pumps such as 966 Cat loader, 226 skid-steer loader-forklift, boom trucks and HDPE welders, pipes and supplies
• Must possess and demonstrate good mechanical skills relating to dewatering pumps, HDPE pipelines and HDPE fusion welding machines
• Lay out pipelines for dewatering and follow HSLP procedures and comply with SOP's

Required Skills or Experience

• Three to five years technical from an accredited trade school
• Experience in pipeline layout, HDPE fusion welding, equipment operation, trouble-shooting experience in portable pump maintenance operation and installation of portable pumps
• Crane rigging and mining experience is preferred
• Must be in good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy loads, willing to work in adverse weather conditions and on right shift
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member
