Job Description

Overview:
The QA Manager is responsible for defining, maintaining and upgrading quality control processes and systems to ensure that the company’s service provision matches/exceeds its brand promise (Excellence, Integrity, Reliability). 

The QA manager will use his/her understanding of the company’s technology and products as well as his/her understanding of the clients’ expectations to work with internal stakeholders to clearly outline quality control practices that ensure that the company meets its SLAs. 

The successful candidate must love technology and be eager to try out new technology releases. 

• Develop testing procedures for new product releases and upgrades
• Create and manacge monitoring procedures for existing products and services
• Troubleshoot service related issues (as it pertains to quality assurance) with internal stakeholders and provide support in resolution path (where applicable)
• Setup quality assurance/control related reporting for internal stakeholders to help track quality of service/SLA compliance
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned to the QA Manager by the Senior Manager - Customer Service or the Executive Team of the company 

Required Skills or Experience

• Strong understanding of web-based technologies
  
• Proficiency (advanced) in Microsoft Excel
  
• Engineering experience is a MUST
  
• Degree from an accredited and recognized university
  
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Experience working in a QA environment a strong plus
• A proven track record of systems development (whether as a software developer or in another engineering field).
  
• Professional both in conduct and appearance
  
• Highly disciplined with regards to documentation (record creation, maintenance, upgrade)
  
• Six sigma exposure/training a strong plus
• Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to work under pressure
