• Perseus Mining is a dual listed (Australia, Toronto) gold miner and explorer focused on the West African region. 
• Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited (PMGL) has recently commissioned the world-class Edikan gold project in the Western Region of Ghana. 
• Edikan Gold Mine (EGM) has a current mining reserve of 3.3M oz of gold from a resource base of 4.3M oz.
• The Edikan processing facility has been designed as a 5.5Mtpa processing facility with the ability to expand this to 7.9Mtpa in the future. The plant is capable of producing at a rate of 220-270,OOOoz gold per annum. 

Job Description

The successful applicant will report to the Process Training Coordinator and will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination of individual field based coaching with tradesmen.
• Undertake field competency based training and assessment.
• Actively participate in the development of field training material in conjunction with the Maintenance Trainer
• Assist with updating training materials and SOPs for process area operations training
• Assist with the maintaining of training records and schedules
• Ensure all schedules are adhered to and all training sessions are delivered on time
• Assist with process plant training as required
• Complete all training within the designated work time of personnel

Required Skills or Experience

• Mechanical Trade Certificate preferably Diploma  in Training or Diploma  in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years plant operating experience at operating mine sites.
• Experience in developing training materials and updating procedures and training packages.
• Maintenance experience in gyratory crushers, large SAG mills, flotation and gold recovery circuit.
• Must possess a E Class Licence
