Job Description

The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) provides technical and managerial leadership; liaison and communication with local partners, governmental organizations and donors; direction of planning and implementation of project work plans to ensure quality project results

The DCOP should have a record of effective management, strong human-relations, strong writing and communications skills and a working knowledge of Ghana's health needs.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Graduate degree in health or related area
  • Minimum of five years experience in a senior management position in USAID, Dfid or other donor projects; experience in Ghana or West Africa preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in health behaviour change
  • Documented excellence in project performance and management
  • Fluency in English
