Job Description
Systems covered:
IN/Prepaid and associated supervision systems, Value Added Services
- Manage overall Rollout and Implementation activities, and to ensure customer interface for all related activities
- Define and control project Implementation plan, track operations' overrun, and value the corresponding over-costs
- Manage customer expectations versus contractual obligations, thus anticipating possible bottlenecks
- Follow rollout progress meetings and associated reporting
- Coordinate with the customer for prompt on-site equipment delivery and for implementation Work Orders approval
- Understand Customer marketing requirements in terms of commercial offers and translate it into technical requirements
- Present, discuss, negotiate and implement introduction of new features
- Manage equipment and sub-systems acceptances
- Ensure efficient implementation as per design, in line with project quality standards and within the budget
- Support Sales & Tendering for IC definition process
- Ensure post-integration technical support as per contractual agreements
- Forecast resources / means requirements, and follow associated cost
- Reporting to General Project Manager or to Core/ Application Implementation Manager
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field is required. A relevant Master’s degree and/ or other professional qualifications would be a plus
- Must have been in the same or similar role or with a career path towing this line for the past 5 years
- Experience in Project Management and associated phases; initiating, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closing
- Experienced in Managing Teams, directly (internal team) and indirectly (dotted lines and external subcontractors)
- Technically sound in implementation of IN/ Prepaid systems
- Knowledge of Core (NGN, GPRS, IP) would be a plus
- Able to work under pressure in a multi-cultural environment, to accept challenging objectives, to work in an autonomous way, to coach his team
- Clear reporting skills towards customer and towards upper management
