Mandated to operate under enabling legislation, this Authority also licenses Marketing Companies to sell its Products across the country through complex systems that facilitate efficient monitoring of its networks nationwide. it is also equipped and poised to provide expertise and support to similar organizations within the entire African continent.
Job Description
Collections:
- Development of new sources of raw materials
- Establishing & operating its supply network and collaboration with its supply agents
Processing/Production:
- Ensuring optimum factory capacity and production scheduling
- Oversight of input & output-dispatch activities and products
- Coordinating supply & processing
- Logistics management and quality control
Sales:
- Marketing and sales
- Cost and pricing activities
- Tracking and investigating both local and international markets
Business Administration and Reporting:
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day efficiency
- Providing periodic reports to superiors
- Planning, inventory and internal controls, motivating and managing employees to high performance
Required Skills or Experience
The job requires a promising and dynamic professional with a good 1st Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, from a recognized University. A minimum of three (3) years experience in a team leadership function performing Industrial & Sales Management roles, preferably within a multicultural environment, is also required. In addition, the aspirant will:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of plastic technology
- Be a highly numerate and entrepreneurial individual with the ability to develop budgets & plans, production schedules & business models
- Be familiar with a variety of basic software applications
- Be able to communicate & gain cooperation at the highest level
- Have problem solving acumen
- Possess superior reporting skills
- Be prepared to work long hours, weekends & holidays
In addition, aspirant must be:

- Team Player
- Decisive
- Challenging
- Practical
The General Manager must live within 30 minutes of the company. Candidates not currently resident within the vicinity must therefore be prepared to relocate.
