A reputable company is looking for a professional massage therapist to work with ( Kumasi Only).

As a Masseuse, you will provide professional massage therapy services to clients with the goal of promoting relaxation, reducing stress, relieving muscle tension, and improving overall well-being. You will use your expertise in various massage techniques to customize treatments based on clients' needs and preferences.
The company is  willing to provide training to inexperienced persons to become professionals in order to handle client needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports, aromatherapy, and reflexology, based on clients' individual needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address any concerns or questions, and provide guidance on post-massage care and relaxation techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting massage therapy room, including sanitizing equipment, changing linens, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Adhere to professional ethics and standards of practice, including maintaining client confidentiality and respecting clients' boundaries and comfort levels during massage sessions.
• Stay informed about current trends, developments, and best practices in massage therapy and wellness techniques through ongoing training, professional development, and participation in industry events.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors, physical therapists, and physicians, as needed to coordinate client care and address specific therapeutic goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly, assisting with appointment scheduling and billing, and ensuring a positive overall experience from arrival to departure.
• Educate clients about the benefits of regular massage therapy, recommend personalized treatment plans, and offer guidance on self-care practices to enhance the effectiveness of massage treatments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and payment information, using electronic health record (EHR) systems or other documentation tools

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification and Skills

• Certification or licensure as a massage therapist from an accredited massage therapy program or institution.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of massage techniques and modalities, with a minimum of 1 years of experience in professional massage therapy practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massage therapy techniques for extended periods and adjust pressure and intensity as needed to meet clients' comfort and therapeutic goals.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical standards, and upholding the highest standards of client confidentiality and privacy.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate clients' schedules and peak business hours.
• Passion for promoting health, wellness, and holistic healing through the practice of massage therapy, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience.
