The USAID-supported Agricultural Governance, Resilience and Economic Empowerment (AGREE) Activity has the overall goal to ensure responsive governance for improved agricultural sector development in Ghana. In September 2020, the scope of the Activity was expanded to include the Women in Shea (WISH) Initiative to advance women’s economic empowerment. The Activity aligns with USAID’s Country Development and Cooperation Strategy for Ghana in ensuring:
USAID recently extended the conflict component to consider social cohesion, early warning, chieftaincy and natural resource management and media. The MEAL Coordinator will be required to travel within and outside the 5 target regions in Northern Ghana for project activities. The occupant will maintain cordial relations with partners, donor representatives and work colleagues at all levels to promote the needs for data gathering, entry, maintenance and retrieval for reporting and performance tacking purposes within the Project Coordination Unit (PCU). The MEAL Coordinator will report directly to the Senior MEAL Specialist. S/he will be based in the Tamale Sub Office in Northern Ghana. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
