Job Description

Successful candidates shall be responsible to:

• writing winnable research proposals, and carrying out research;
• communicating research, and offering academic counseling to Students;
• performing any other duties that may be assigned by Director of the Institute, or the Provost of the College.

Areas of Specialization
Applicants should be specialized in the following:

• Energy Economics
• Ethics in the Oil and Gas Sector
• Oil and Gas Law
• Offshore Ship Brokers
• Petroleum Ecology
• Other Energy related Fields

Required Skills or Experience

Candidates seeking appointment to the above position :

• must possess PhD (preferably) in the areas of specialization;
• must  possess at  least two (2)   refereed  publications  in  the areas of specialization.

Experience
 Candidates must demonstrate evidence of :

• ability to source funds for research;
• previous research  undertaken,  preferably  with NGOs/ Research Organizations;
• have at least two (2) years teaching/research experience in a University

Age

Candidates should NOT be above fifty (50) years.
