Job Description

A reputable company seeks the services of an experience Civil/Structural Engineer with experience in steel and concrete structures design, sales and quantity surveying to serve as its Engineering Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with clients, identifying project goals, planning, budgeting, preparation of engineering proposals, overseeing preliminary and detailed designs, cost estimation and project management.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design of engineering projects for compliance with national and local standards
• Design steel, concrete and telecommunication structures
• Perform other calculations/analysis for other structural or civil components
• Interact with clients, contractors, managers and other consultants to review project issues
• Leads Sales Drive of the organization.
• Coordinate drafting activities to assure compliance with design and calculations
• Identify structural software necessary to enable structural group to function effectively.
• Overall supervision of structural engineers and designers
• Overall supervision of Estimation and Quantity Surveying

Required Skills or Experience

• Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
• Minimum of 7 years working experience in design of steel and Reinforced Concrete Structures.
• Membership of reputable Engineering and Technical Associations and Institution is an added advantage
• Experience in using Steel and other Structural design software.
• Experience in use of AutoCAD design software
• PMP certification will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge in Telecommunication establishment will be an added advantage
