Job Description

The Guest House Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Guest House, its staff and must have accountability for planning, organizing and directing Guest House services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide management for Guest House staff with all facets of the Guest House
• Perform periodic inspections and/or audits of Guest House operations (i.e., buildings, grounds, furnishings, fixtures, equipment, safety, front desk procedures, employee relations, accounting, etc.).
• Monitor financial performance of guest house and factors contributing to financial performance, including labor costs and implement interventions as necessary to ensure efficient, profitable operations.
• Be available for supervision and support to dept managers on a 24-hour per day, on-call basis.
• Implement strategies as necessary to ensure that facility is operated in consistence with Company standards and policies, and meet, or exceed our commitment to excellence in service.
• Accomplishes Guest House human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies.
• Maintains customer confidence by personally responding to and resolving complaints; making charge adjustments or offering complimentary services.
• Must be willing to live in the Volta Region

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have  HND in Hospitality Management
• Must have at least Three (3) of working experience in a similar position
•  Strong supervisory and management skills
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Compute literate
• Must be willing to live in the Volta Region
