Job Description

  • Position Title:    Lead- Business Development
  • Level:    L7/L6
  • Reports to: Head - Capital Business Unit
  • Function: Capital Sales
  • Location: Accra

Function description
The Incumbent  is responsible for planning and executing the Capital Sales budget through the sales team of WHG

Contacts of the function 

External to WHG:         
Customers (Institutional, State, Sponsors and Philanthropists)

 

Roles and Responsibility Areas of Responsibility
# Tasks
1 Identify the potential customers for capital sales across the private and public sectors.
2 Segment the market into logical groups and estimate size of each.
3 Determine the product specifications by customer segment / group 
4 Execute plan to achieve the sales budget. 
5 Obtain AMC (annual maintenance contract) from capital sales customers
6 Maintain relationship with key accounts

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification and Experience Education: Graduate (any stream) / Post Graduate (preferably MBA)
Functional Experience:  Must have handled a retail sales role in B2B and Corporate /Government sales
Superspeciality : Account Management / Relationship Building
Other: NA
Years of Experience: The incumbent should have over 8-10 years in B2B and Corporate/Government sales
