Job Description

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to be based in the Accra Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating staff planning and recruitment.
• Administering the compensation and performance management policies of ACDI/VOCA
• Ensuring that managers conduct performance appraisals of their staff in a timely manner
• Managing the communication and compliance with local labour laws, cultural norms, donor requirements, and ACDI/VOCA policies,
• Establishing and maintaining standard human resource management systems.
• Conducting regular field trips to project offices to monitor and review personnel and administrative procedures and assist project staff, where appropriate.

Required Skills or Experience

• University degree in Human Resources Management. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in human resources, a minimum of five (5) years of which are at a management level.
• Knowledge of Ghana labour laws and government regulations
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
