Founded in December, 20111, the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho is among the youngest universities in Ghana. It is the only university in Ghana wholly dedicated to the training of health professionals.

The student population is now 4,200 and employee number currently stands at 607.

The vision of the University is to provide quality educational opportunities to students and healthcare professionals, advance knowledge through scholarship and research and provide patient care and services that improve health and quality of life.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist students with clinical (Practicum)work;
• Assist students to take anthropometry measurements;
• Assist students to take nutritional assessments;
• Administer questionnaire and collect data.
• Help with the set up for practical courses in diet kitchen;
• Purchase food ingredients for weekly practical work;
• Assist in planning, organising and evaluating vocational training programme.
•  Undertake general activities at the department.

Required Skills or Experience

Applicants must possess:

• Either a B.Sc. in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Science or Consumer Science.
• A minimum of (3) years'working experience.
