We are looking for a Brand Communication Specialist

• Report to:  Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications     
• Job Location:  Accra       

Job Objective

Responsible for initiating and executing plans that support and enhance the company’s brand promise, brand vision and brand values towards the achievement of corporate objectives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead brand planning process by developing and executing annual brand operating plan, brand target setting, communications, innovation and strategy to ensure brand visibility at all times
• Engage, inspire and galvanize members of staff around the brand vision, position and strategies to enable them project the brand in their functional areas.
• Ensure that existing and new products packaging are in line with consumer needs and the brand promise.
• Create direct and indirect marketing campaigns to enable the sales teams to drive business acquisition.
• Design and supervise lay-out and update forms, corporate stationery and promotional material
• Coordinates the production of designed materials and review the quality of produced materials
• Develop concepts and design all Marketing and Public Relations materials
• Conduct and evaluate market intelligence, consumer needs analysis, impact of communication, competitor media engagement and the general brand performance and advise management.
• Research, write and supervise writing of news release/articles for internal and external publications.

Required Skills or Experience

• University Degree in Marketing or a related field
• Membership of marketing a professional body is desirable
• At least 3 years relevant experience in brand management
• Knowledge of public speaking  and strong project management skills
• Ability to develop communication plans (internal and external)
• Knowledge of project planning and evaluation
