• Financial Management
• Initiation and Supervision of Income Generating Activities
• Management of Estates and properties and physical development
• Management of Procurement and Stores
• Development of Accounting Staff
• Designing of systems and internal controls to deal with the changing needs of the Association.
• Management of Association's investments
• Preparation of Financial Reports for auditing purposes.

Vision and Mission: Candidate should provide his/her vision and mission statement.
Level of responsibility: Reports to the General Secretary

Required Skills or Experience

• Age should not be below 45 years and not above 55 years.
• Professional Teacher with a good University First Degree in Finance and Accounting or Commerce is required and additional qualification in the relevant field will be an advantage.
• The capacity to supervise all accounting staff and branch operations is the central point of the job.
• Candidate should appreciate the dynamics in a large trade union work environment and respond accordingly,
• A working knowledge of basic software used in finance and Accounting is recommended
• A demonstrated experience in financial management is a must with a capacity to analyse financial reports,
• Candidate must be a paid up member of the Ghana National Association of
• Teachers (GNAT),
• Candidate must be a least an Assistant Director I in GES or at least an Assistant Secretary (Assistant Regional Secretary).
