Job Description

VTech is looking for 20 highly qualified, proactive, motivated and resourceful candidates to fill the Contact Centre Agent Positions.

Job Summary

Provide exceptional customer service by handling calls in a professional way and also manage data by verifying and entering them into a computer system.

The Package

  • The position is based at Amasaman in Accra.
  • The position reports to a Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following;

  • Handle calls within pre-determined service guidelines.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints.
  • Adhere to Data Protection policy with regards to confidentiality of customer details.
  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry or verification.
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms.
  • Handle complaints in a polite and professional manner.
  • Attention to detail as accuracy and completeness of data is essential
  • Patiently listens and responds to customer queries.

Required Skills or Experience

Education / Work Experience

  • A Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution, however Bachelor’s degree holders will have an added advantage.
  • Good typing  and illiteracy IT skills

Critical Competencies

  • Ability to handle complaints in a polite, empathetic and professional manner.
  • Attention to detail as accuracy and completeness of data is essential.
  • Fluent in the English Language.
  • Excellent communication skills especially verbal.
  • Ability to handle busy periods by managing one’s stress levels.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and enthusiasm when faced with routine work.
  • A minimum of I year experience in similar role will be a plus.
  • Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
