Job Description

Applications are invited from Ghanaian and non –Ghanaian citizens with experience for the specific position. The location for the position is Accra, Ghana with possible and frequent travels in- country and abroad.

Chief Finance Officer

The CFO will develop financial/investment policies, systems, controls, etc. and coordinate the development of the overall annual operating budget and monitor expenditure to achieve the Group’s financial goals.

Key duties

• Provide inputs and participate in the development of the overall corporate strategy of the Group.
• Serve as the principal financial advisor to the Group to support the Annual Operating and Financial Strategic Plans.
• Lead in financial modelling and analysis to support the development of long term strategic initiatives and business plans.
• Evaluate and conduct cost benefit analysis on investment prospects to determine its financial viability and tax consequences for Management decision making.
• Develop Optimized Capital Structures (Debt/Equity Ratios) for the Group Office and formulate plans to achieve set targets.
• Liaise with Group Head/Legal in the preparation of contract documents for the procurement of works, goods and services.

Required Skills or Experience

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
• Fifteen (15) years relevant post qualification experience in assigned field with at least 7 years in senior management role.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding in Investment and Treasury Management.
