Job Description

DUTIES

  • Territory quota attainment( sales and margin)
    • Will help develop business in assigned territories and market to promote the company’s product.
    • Providing sales and management with input for quota settings and projections.
  • Market share;
    • Will be presenting new/upgraded product supported by introduction plan to appropriate customer.
    • Developing time and territory plan that supports the market.
    • Submitting monthly reports to summarize results.
  • Develop relationship with key companies( distributors, OEM’S and End users);
    • Working closely with OEMs and End users to develop the company’s product awareness.
    • Conducting product and company presentations, hold meetings and participate at trade shows, to explain and demonstrate features and benefits of the company.
  • Support Africa Sales Manager with the Distribution network and channel development;
    • Participating in evaluating the addition or deletion of distributors in the assigned territory or market.
    • Will Prepare, update and maintain the end-user coverage by mapping all mines and identifying gaps and opportunities for the company.
    • Researching new distribution channel in specific targeted market identified in the African plan.
    • Working with existing distributors to further develop business
  • Communication and administration;
    • Managing assigned territory and responsibilities in compliance with company’s policies and procedures
    • Submitting and completing reports and paperwork on time.
    • Will Identify and communicate marketing opportunities for new products, product modifications, and new applications for existing product, as well as competitive activity.
  • Expense management;
    • Maintaining a demo equipment account in a salable and presentable condition
    • Manage expenses within agreed upon limits and according to the European Travel Policy
  • Planning & Reporting;
    • Reporting in an agreed structure about business development issues
    • Participating in developing the yearly plan
    • Providing a weekly/monthly time plan to the Africa Sales Manager
  • End User Conversion
    • To actively do demonstrations on the company’s range of products to potential end users and material manufacturers.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in similar role.

 REQUIREMENT

Good communication skills at different organizational level.

  • Ability to administer/ self-discipline and management.
  • Good business sense and knowledge.
  • Good command over English language
