Job Description

• Job Title:  Consultant
• Reports to: Chief of Party
• Period of Performance:  45 working days
• Level of Effort:  Full-Time                                

The USAID/Resiliency in Northern Ghana Project is funded by the US Agency for International Development and is being implemented in 17 selected districts of the Northern Region of Ghana.  USAID/RING is focused on improving the livelihoods and nutritional status of vulnerable households in Northern Ghana.

Objective: To provide technical writing support to RING.

Tasks:

• Provide technical writing to develop details of activities in the area of Livelihoods, Agriculture, Nutrition, Health, Water and Sanitation, Governance, etc.

Required Skills or Experience

• Demonstrated Strong writing and formatting ability
• Basic Understanding of smallholder agriculture, livelihoods, nutrition and WASH activities preferred
• Ability to interview staff and other experts to identify needed content
• In-depth knowledge of Northern Ghana
