Post Title: Photographer (Individual or Institutional Contract)

Duration: 11 months

Job Purpose:
To provide high quality documentary photographs

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To provide high quality documentary photographic coverage in Ghana on a range of different assignment and subjects in digital originals per a brief.
• Create a caption of each photo according to UNICEF requirements.
• Submit to UNICEF one set of all original visuals and one set of the best selection of the visuals in a specified digital format.
• Submit with the pictures release forms signed by subjects.

Required Skills or Experience

• A first degree or equivalent.
• At least five years minimum experience in professional documentary photography,with appropriate demonstrated experience manifested through ability to take high quality photos.
• International publications and photography exhibitions will be an advantage.
• Experience working in rural Ghana preferable.
• Ability to communicate with children, rural people and local authorities an advantage.
• Previousexperiencetakingdocumentaryphotosindiversesituationsandin developing countries an advantage.
