Job Description

• Job Title: Flight Dispatcher
• Department:   Flight Operations
• Reports to: Chief Dispatcher, Flight Operations Control
• Location: Head Office, Accra

Job Purpose

•  Dispatch and follow flights to ensure the safe and smooth operations of the Airline

Key Accountabilities

• Dispatching of Flights and operations monitoring/following
• Flight document management
• Flight information and aircraft performance related document management
• Handling of other related operations issues
• Other tasks as assigned from time-to-time by the Chief Dispatcher, Flight Operations Control.

Required Skills or Experience

• 1^st Degree in a relevant field
• Must be a licensed dispatcher
• At least two years of experience is a plus 

or

• 1^st Degree (preferably in Mathematics or Sciences) or Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics or Sciences or an Aviation Certificate in Flight Operations.
• At least four years on- the- job experience

• Possess excellent computer skills
• Must have adequate English proficiency (spoken and written)

• Must be comfortable working with tablet computers, smartphones and other cutting edge devices
• Must be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and independence
• Must be flexible and able to work under pressure
• Must possess good leadership skills
• Must be physically able to lift moderate weights and work under demanding physical conditions
• Ability to perform cross-functional duties is highly desired
• Must possess a valid passport  and a driver’s licence.
