A reputable company with a high turnover is seeking to employ a highly qualified person to fill the position of a General Manager with a beverage company

Job description

Purpose of the job:  to effectively and efficiently handle the day to day running of the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To oversee the management of resources, both financial, physical and human resources, and bundle these resources to achieve the corporate goal.
  • Conduct budget analysis and financial management duties, including development and preparation of budget, expenses breakdown, production forecasting, etc.
  • Build and maintain a good public relations with the stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the various units or department of the company by setting units or departmental goal. Review target periodically.
  • Monitor the business environment, trends, competition and formulate strategies necessary to consolidate and increase our market share
  • Generating financial reports on department operating performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance to all statutory obligations, licensing, tax, permits, etc.
  • Lead the marketing team to undertake an effective marketing development plan
  • Ensure there is effective communication with all our stakeholders.
  • Perform other tasks assigned to you by management.

Required Skills or Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor degree in business administration with strong knowledge in accounting and marketing, but preferably an MBA in strategic management and a professional qualification in accounting.
  • The person must have a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience with 5 years in a senior management level preferably in FMCG / Beverage
  • He must be between the ages of 35 to 45 years old.
  • The person must have competence in analyzing and understanding the business environment.
  • He must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
