Our client, a Germany based organisation who are into Casino and Gaming are currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant to support their operations.

ROLE PROFILE

Will be expected to manage and maintain complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of all financial information.

DUTIES

• Strictly implements company accounting policies
• Performs daily accounting functions, such as recording journal entries and adjustments
• Manages and reconciles daily cash flow and handles petty cash replenishment
• Reconciles various balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
• Produces various spreadsheet reports for management (treasury, inventory, expenses)
• Participates in weekly physical counts of inventory
• Manages fixed assets and the depreciation of fixed assets
• Will be responsible for the month-end closing procedures
• To ensure compliance to Government of Ghana Requirements
• Cash Flow Management
• Payroll Management
• Receivables and Payables Management
• Costing Management
• Manage the preparation and performance of the annual financial budget

Required Skills or Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of local accounting standards of Ghana (chart of accounts, banks, cash, debtors,
• creditors)
• 3 years or more of work experience playing a similar role.
• High level computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of information systems of accounting in Ghana.
• Relevant Job Knowledge and Application of extant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Able to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure
• Time Management / Ability to meet deadlines
• Problem Solving and good analytical skills
• Very good communication skills and good command of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Russian Language an added advantage.
