Job Description

Our client, a consulting firm, currently seeks to hire an Administrative Officer to join its team. The incumbent will report to the Executive Director on the day to day general administration of the office. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages
  • Taking of minutes at meetings
  • Conduct research, compile date and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports
  • Open sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies maintaining records management database systems and performing basic booking work 

LOCATION: Accra, Ghana

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of an HND required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Highly organized person
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office tools, specifically Word and Excel
  • Applicants should have excellent phone and customer interaction skills 
  • Ability to self-motivate, stay organized, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and successfully manage multiple deadlines and competing demands.
