Job Description

We are a reputable Equity Investment Firm currently into Finance, Hospitality, Logistics, Real Estates, Property Management, Security Services and Trade.

We are seeking to find suitable persons with an excellent track record for the following position within the Group

  • Job Title:  Land Surveyors
  • Department:  Real Estates/Construction/Land Access
  • Reports Directly:  General Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities associated with this position will include:

  • Discuss specific project requirements with Team Lead
  • Measure the ground as required, including aspects such as small and large-scale distances, angles and elevations
  •  Gather data on the earth's physical and man-made features through surveys
  •  Process data
  • Undertake digital mapping
  • Make use of geographical information systems (GIS) to analyse and interpret site features;
  • Produce detailed information (subsequently analysed by planners, builders and cartographers);
  • Use a range of equipment to produce surveys, including GPS and conventional methods
  • Think creatively to resolve practical planning and development problems
  • Interpreting data using maps, charts and plans
  • Utilise data from a range of sources, such as aerial photography, satellite surveys and laser beam measuring systems;
  • Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
  • Perform as cadastral issue matter expert as team member.
  • Develop and inspect land surveying project contracts.
  • Support field measurement and layout.
  • Conduct standard calculations to identify areas, elevation and volumes of field survey notes.
  • Conduct basic calculations using field note data.
  • Read, utilize and interpret design drawings and topographic maps.
  • Involve in implementing mapping contracts and Indefinite Quality (IQ) surveying.
  • Using computer-aided design (CAD) and other IT software to interpret data and present information;
  • Keeping up to date with new and emerging technology;
  • Providing advice to a range of clients

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of a first degree in Geomatic Engineering   
  • Minimum of Five (5) years work experience at management level with similar company
  • Highly proficient in Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint mandatory)
