Job Description

The Technical Officer is responsible for ensuring the technical functioning of the school.

Areas:

• Maintenance: service and follow up of the maintenance of the technical equipment
• Repair and monitoring of repair, reconstruction, expansion jobs
• Expertise: Follow up on major and minor construction works
  • Equipment review and suggestions for improvements
  • Technical audits
  • Identify priority projects and formalise a mid to long-term plan
  • Design terms of reference
  • Identify, contact relevant suppliers
  • Negotiate and select the optimum supplier
  • Plan, implement, coordinate and monitor progress according to the terms of reference
  • Validate the hand-over / delivery

Required Skills or Experience

• Diploma of higher education for technicians or an equivalent experience
• A professional experience is necessary
