Job Description

Currently, Abt Associates is implementing Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) in five selected districts in the Northern Region: Kumbungu, West Mamprusi, East Mamprusi, Mamprugu/Moagduri And Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo districts.

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill temporary positions as Field Supervisors (44) at each of the following operational sites/ sub-district:

 Duties:

• Supervise spray teams and ensure quality spraying according to best practices. 
• Ensure each household has an IRS card before spraying is done.
• Solve problems arising on the field.
• Sensitize communities on IRS procedures, benefits and the role of household members before, during and after spraying
• Keep IRS daily spray data reports updated and complete supervisor’s checklist.
• Ensure that all spray operators and Team Leaders comply with The Best Management Practices (BMP)
• Submit daily coverage of teams to the district M&E /SOC and keep SOPs daily performance chart.

Required Skills or Experience

• SSCE or WASSCE
• Candidate MUST have at least 2 years IRS experience as a Team Leader or Spray Operator.
• MUST be able to use a mobile phone to perform basic functions such as sending SMS.
