Summary:
North American Educational Center (NAEC) is a five year old but recently re-organized institution that consists of a Basic School, Senior High School, a Pre-University and a School of Professional Studies.

NAEC seeks a highly qualified, experienced, motivated, business minded and results-oriented individual to head its Senior High School.

There are six key performance requirements for this position:

• Effective Managerial Skills
• High Standards of Academic Performance;
• Effective Recruitment Campaigns,
• High Conversion Rates,
• High Enrollment Rates;
• Operational Cost Control;
• Financial Sustainability and Profitability. 

The position requires carrying a teaching load of at least two courses per term (unless waived by the Director of Campus Operations in consultation with the President and Chief Executive Officer). 

Important Note: The Headmaster is required to report to the President, all cases of inappropriate relationships, consensual and non-consensual, between instructors and students,  and all forms of sexual harassment and abuse, perpetrated by any staff (consensual and non-consensual) against students. Failure to report such matters to the President will be tantamount to a gross dereliction of the duties of this position which will result in an immediate termination of employment.

Required Skills or Experience

The Headmaster will possess demonstrated ACADEMIC PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES in the following areas:

• A Master’s degree in Education or in a related field with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Headmaster. OR
• A Master’s degree in Education or in a related field with 1 to 2 years of professional experience as an Assistant Headmaster. OR
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or in a related field with more than 3 years of professional experience at progressively higher levels of responsibility as a Senior High School Teacher or in a related field.  AND
• A Self-Starter with the ability to start a school from the ground up with little or no supervision. AND
• Must be profit-motivated, business-minded and results-oriented.
