A leader in the  Non-Bank Financial Institutions  invites applications from experienced, highly    motivated, proactive and resourceful persons to fill the position of: Finance Officers

Job Summary

• In charge of updating of general ledger, Excel Cashbook
• Reconcile cash ledgers, Daily Bank Reconciliation and following up anomalies in Bank Statement and advice relevant   
• Officers of the Company.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly Bank Accounts Reconciliation for sign off
• Prepare daily Bank and cash accounts/ledger reconciliation for review
• Undertake completeness check of Business Loans/Fixed Deposits transactions at month end
• Post all unpaid invoices at month end
• Advise relevant Officers on returned cheques, unknown transfer/payments into our Bank Account.
•  Reconcile Operational cash float account
• Update Withholding Tax and VAT Ledger and ensure payment on before statutory deadline
• Responsible for ensuring Accountable Imprest Ledger has no running Balances on the ledger
• Update Excel Cash book
• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the Management Accounts
• Undertake any other duties assigned by Management

Required Skills or Experience

• Educational: A first Degree or Minimum HND Accounting/Economics
• Professional : First level of a professional Accountancy qualification
• Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Technical Competence

• Must be conversant with an Accounting Software and Double entry bookkeeping
