Responsibilities

The Technical Services Manager will advise about, design, installation and maintenance cost-effective and energy efficient systems for building services such as water, lighting, heating, air conditioning, lifts, and telecoms. He will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical, mechanical and telecoms aspects of UCS Projects perform effectively and efficiently.

The job include tasks such as designing and maintaining air conditioning, elevators and other mechanical systems; distributing electricity and water supply; and providing lighting and heating. The Technical Services Manager will be responsible, for all the functional characteristics of a building that take it from being an empty shell to a comfortable living space.

While health and safety features, such as emergency procedures and security, are of high priority, the environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness of buildings are increasingly vital considerations in the Facilities Management industry and the Technical Manager ensures this.

REQUIREMENTS

• Age - 35-50 years
• Gender - Male
• Educational Qualification - Holder will need a Technical degree in building services engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering ad accredited by a national body of the disciple
• Work Experience - Above 10 years
• Nationality - Expatriate, Preferable from Turkey/South Africa
• Salary - Competitive
