Since 2010 the BoP Innovation Center (BoPInc) facilitates pro-poor innovative business strategies. The aim is to include people in low-income markets in enterprises as producers and consumers. We provide business consultancy services and work with a strong network of partners in the public and private sectors.

The 2SCALE project is the largest agribusiness incubator in Africa, working with farmers and small-scale entrepreneurs in 6 countries. 2SCALE builds networks that connect farmers, buyers and intermediaries, enabling them to create and grow new businesses, through providing technical assistance and brokering partnerships with financial institutions and business support services.

BoP Innovation center and Crosswise Works have joined their expertise in inclusive business and sustainability to set up the Food Connection Challenge for agribusinesses in the agro & food sector in Ghana. Both organizations have track record experience in working with the private sector in Africa and the Netherlands towards a more sustainable world.

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
By participating in the Food Connection Challenge you will work with Dutch companies in advancing agricultural technology. With the additional support of students from the most outstanding Dutch universities, you will form teams to jointly develop a fit-for-purpose innovative solution to your post-harvest challenge. The best idea will receive support in securing funds to be implemented in a pilot scale.

Required Skills or Experience
