Job Description

We are a reputable financial institution seeking to recruit an experienced and exceptional individual to fill the position of a Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Implements policies, procedures and internal control at the branch;
  • Performs other human resource line management duties at the branch level in consultation with the HR department;
  • Communicates effectively and implements corporate policies and strategies at the branch level;
  • Plans and initiates promotional measures within the target markets of the branch;
  • Prepares and submits relevant reports on branch operations to the management;
  • Ensures major operations reconciliations ( payment orders, inter-branch accounts and clearing) are carried out continuously and efficiently;
  • Develops good customer relationships and maintains personal contact with clients in order to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Plans and controls the liquidity of the branch;
  • Coordinates and supervise all branch activities, including general office management;
  • Ensures that targets agreed with the management are reached; 
  • Day to day management of the branch.

 

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field;
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance etc. or a relevant professional qualification;
  • Extensive experience on the operational activities of a Savings and Loans or Retail Banking sector.
