Job Description

  • Position Title:  Head - Subsidiary Accounts            
  • Level: L6            
  • Reports to: Financial Controller            
  • Function: Finance            
  • Location: Accra

 

Basic Data Function description
The incumbent would be responsible for managing the entire accounts function and all statutory requirements from a taxation point of view.

1      Books Closure and Audit (Statutory/Tax and Transfer Pricing, if any for both the countries) Full 
2 Strict knowledge of Statutory Compliances (Direct & Indirect Taxes) - Filings, returns etc Full 
3 Strong communication skills as to be dealt with regular dealings with Statutory Auditors, internal auditors, VAT Authorities,Tax department, Registrar offices etc apart from other secreterial matters Full 
4 Ensure accuracy in accounts payable/accounts recievable, fund management, Inter-company transactions Full 
5 Monthly and quarterly closure of book of accounts Full 
 
Supervisory Role Number of Staff Controlled 3
Next Level The incumbent could grow upto the role of CFO/Financial Controller

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification and Experience Education: CA/ICWA
Functional Experience : Should have a minimum 8 to 10  years of experience in relevant field preferably with African working experiece
Super Speciality :  
Other : Working knowledge or certification course in IFRS
Years of Experience: The incumbent should have about 8 to 10 years of experience of working in relevant field
