Job Description

Position Title : Head - Supply Chain Management
Level : Assistant Manager / Manager
Reports to : Country Head
Function : Supply Chain Management
Location : Accra

Basic Data	Function description
	Manage and supervise timely procurement of all Civil facilities / services, Water Treatment Equipment to meet project and operational timelines without cost overruns

	1	Interacting with suppliers, technical evaluation of offers /whetting of purchase comparative statements	Full
	2	Interacting with Clearing agents and ensuring timely goods clearance	Full
	3	Prepare and ensure budgetary controls and avoid cost overruns	Full
	4	Co-ordination of Civil and Equipment Purchase sections to ensure timely and sequential availability of goods and services	Full
	5	Preparation of proactive purchase plan depending upon the order pipeline and project deadlines	Full
	6	Co-ordinating with various functions for smooth & quick functioning	Full
	7	Manage Warehouse operations with Inventory tracking report and MIS	Full
	8	To ensure procurement and dispatch is done as per statutory norms which will include tax compliance, document compliance.	Full
	9	MIS presentation of project cost monitoring / project site goods delivery / consumption and inventory analysis.	Full
	10	MIS presentation of inventory, pending indents, pending PO's, vendor payables	Full
	11	Manage the inbound and outbound logistics.	Full

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification and Experience	Education: Engineering Degree on Mechanical / Electrical
	Functional Experience: Supply Chain Management
	Superspeciality: Sound knowledge on Imports & Exports Procedures, SCM Process, Warehouse & Transportation management
	Other: Experience of handling assembly line of some production company
	Years of Experience: The incumbent should have a minimum 7- 10 years experience in Procurement preferably in Water Treatment equipment company / Realty / Project Management. This role requires experience in civil works.
