Role Purpose
Exercise overall managerial and supervisory control over the Home Fire Safety Project 

Key Responsibilities

• Organization of the provision of businesses  and other support services to set-up ventures of Home Fire Safety Project to ensure their profitability and sustainability
• Engage and examine business proposals for investment by stakeholders
• Design and implement policies that seek to identify  businesses for investment in the name of Hone Fire Safety Project  to ensure profitability and sustainability 
• Direct the facilitation of various training activities at HFSP either directly or through service providers
• Design and implement monitoring and supervision policies to keep track of implementation of programme activities and all business the Home Fire Safety Project
• Ensure there are absolute cordial working relationship with all stakeholders especially those in the Fire Safety industry.
• Implement policies that seeks to maintain accurate and timely records of the delivery of services and assets on Regional  basis
• Act as custodian of all the company’s resources in the region and ensure prudent use of these resources and for their purposes and business ventures only
• Exercise overall managerial and supervisory control over all staff directly or indirectly or through their Heads of Departments towards the achievement of goals and objectives of the company.
• Submit monthly, quarterly, activity and any other such report as shall be required to the Executive Chairman, Chief Operating Officer and any Group Head at JOSPONG.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Executive Chairman, Chief Operating Officer and any Group Head at JOSPONG.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum qualification of Masters Degree in Safety or Engineering or related field and 5 years of occupational safety experience, OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of the Ghana National Fire Service Act
• Knowledge of Fire Safety Laws and Regulations
• Planning and organizing skills
• Conflict management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Very good interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and execute projects. 
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel ​
