JOB PURPOSE:

The successful applicant shall be responsible for error-free cash register operations, payment processing, and interactions with customers. The role reports to the Accountant.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT

·  Receive payment by cash, cheques from customers

·  Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

·  Ensure that there is sufficient cash in the cash drawer

·  Maintain correct cash balances at cash registers

·  Solve all cash related queries

·  Maintain a clean checkout area

·  Communicate company policies and procedures to customers

·  Make daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports

Required Skills or Experience

·  SHS or Higher Qualification.

·  Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
