Job Description

Job Purpose
The Special Assistant/ Resource Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all employees and associates who works closely with the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with all workers on all the CEO’s projects in Accra and Nkwatia.
  • Oversee, direct and supervise all executive assistants
  • Recruit staff, develop job descriptions, prepare job adverts, check applications, shortlist, interview and select candidates
  • Develop and implement human resource policies
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results
  • Advise on pay and remuneration issues, including promotions and benefits
  • Administer payroll and employee records
  • Prepare employee handbook for newly recruited staff
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports
  • Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures
  • Contribute in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned by the CEO

Required Skills or Experience

  • Proven working experience in managing and dealing with people is required
  • A degree/ qualification in management, H.R., event planning or related field
  • Good communication skills
