Job Description

• Due to the award of a mine development contract at Ahafo for the Subika Underground Mine and subject to Newmont's Board final approval, AUMS is seeking expressions of interest for up-coming work in Ghana from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following role  : Surveyors
• As a competent licenced underground surveyor, you will be capable of identifying, training, up skilling and leading a team to full underground surveying proficiency

Required Skills or Experience

Must possess the following knowledge: 

• Knowledge of Deswick and Surpac. 
• Accurate installation of survey points underground and daily pick-up of faces and recording of survey data.
• Proficiency in the use of CMS. 
• Data entry and maintenance of associated databases. 
• Issuing of plans in a timely manner. 
• Demonstrated experience training personnel to a high standard.
