Job Description

We are seeking the service of a Driver to provide transportation services to the group.  The purpose of this position is to be responsible for all Transport Logistics of INTU Group Ltd and ensure that all vehicles are well maintained and driven in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsiblilities

• Operate assigned vehicle/s in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintain defensive driving skills and report any faults on vehicles
• Report accidents promptly and accurately to supervisor
• Ensure safety of company vehicles
• Keep a log book detailing each completed trip
• Notify the supervisor in a timely manner of vehicle renewals (Road worthy, Insurance)
• Keep the assigned vehicle (s) clean
• Discharge only official business and authorized private requests when in the possession of a company vehicle.
• Travel at short notice
• Any other duties that may be assigned

Required Skills or Experience

• Candidates for this post must possess a G.C.E. O' Level or SSCE Certificate, Techical certificate (N.V.T.I, etc)
• Must have a valid Drivers Licence, class "C" with at least 5 years continuous driving experience in an organization.
• Must be drug and alcohol free at all times
• Must have no criminal records

Technical Competence

• Ability to fix minor faults (ex Tire changing, headlights etc)
• Knowledge of rules and regulation involved in safe and efficient operation of a vehicle
• Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures
• Possess proffessionalism and strong customer service skills
