Job Description

Our client, a leading supplier to the Cable Management and Structural Support Systems Industry with representations in fifty countries is currently looking to hire a proactive Technical Sales Manager to support their operations in Kumasi, Ghana.

Role Profile

The successful candidate will promote, support and provide technical advice on the company’s product and services.

Duties

  • Establish strong and functional customer relationships both in the public and private sector.
  • Ensure that the company is professionally represented at all times
  • Establish technical sales strategies and set goals to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Will help develop business in assigned territories and market to promote the company’s product.
  • Gather information and effectively undertake intelligence reports to aid organisation streamline its activities.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans as and when needed.
  • Develop business in assigned territories and market to promote the company’s product.
  • Submit monthly report on sales activities

Required Skills or Experience

  • A good first degree in Engineering related course or social sciences
  • At least 8 years’ experience in industrial sales particularly in real estate, mining and in the road construction sectors.

Requirement

  • Must understand the Ghanaian bidding process and be able to handle complex quotations.
  • Must be able to meet high profile clientele both in the public and private sectors and have knowledge of the Ghana procurement process especially for government projects.
  • Must be willing to relocate and can work without much supervision.
  • Must be able to drive with a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a back ground in sales and marketing
  • Must have a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
