Job Description

Preparation of monthly and yearly management accounts:

• Revenue and Expenditure Accounts
• Profit and Loss Accounts
• Balance sheets
• Receipts and Payments
• Debtors and Creditors summary

Transaction processing and reconciliation

• Raising invoices and processing expenses
• Managing ledgers
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations
• Monitoring and reconciliation of daily general ledger transactions
• Carry out monthly general ledger reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Client and Supplier Statement Reconciliation

Projections and Forecasting:

• Budget forecasts
• Cash flow forecasts

Statutory reporting processes and returns

• Preparing VAT returns
• Preparing PAYE, SSF, WHT and other tax returns
• Processing payroll regularly to ensure that employee salary records are up to date and all contractual/legislative requirements are met.
• May be required to represent TIP in all contractual and legal processes and assist in all financial investigations.

Revenue Collection/Mobilization

• Ensure that outstanding debts are collected

Maintain company asset register

• Maintain and provide information to assist management to make strategic financial decisions

Required Skills or Experience

• A Basic Degree from a recognized University PLUS a minimum of 3 Years corporate experience
• A professional qualification is an advantage

Technical competence:

• Adept at Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Sound knowledge of financial statements
• Excellent financial reporting and analysis  
• Negotiation
