Job Description

• Preparing proposals and delivering marketing plans within key objectives.
• Liaising with events coordinator to maximise visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibitions, including compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate.
• Generating leads for products and services.
• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations.
• Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships.
• Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press , publications - or on the radio, depending on the organisation and the campaign.
• Maintaining and updating customer databases.
• Sourcing and securing sponsorship for events.
• Buying media airtime and preparing media schedules
• Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
• Visits clients periodically
• Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues.

Required Skills or Experience

• 1st degree in Marketing from a recognized University

Technical competencies:

• Computer literate( excellent use of MS word. Powerpoint and excel)
• Marketing and strong salesmanship
• Good writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good negotiation skills
