THE COUNCIL of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Sunyani announces that the position of REGISTRAR of the University shall become vacant by 1st April, 2017.

The position
The Registrar is:

• Secretary to the Office of the Chancellor, Council and the Academic Board;
• Responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the affairs of the University;
• The Chief Administrative Officer of the University under the Vice-Chancellor.

Terms Of Appointment:

• The Appointment is full-time and interested candidates should be able to serve a minimum of FOUR (4) years in office before attaining the compulsory retiring age of Sixty (60).
• The Appointment may be subject to renewal for another term of up to 4 years.
• Salary and Conditions of Service attached to the position are attractive.

Required Skills or Experience

The preferred candidate must have:

• A minimum of a Master's Degree;
• Not less than Ten (10) years post-qualification working experience and an extensive appreciation of the tertiary education sector;
• Been a Deputy Registrar for at least two (2) years in a University or in an analogous institution;
• Good writing skills, eye for detail; an appreciable knowledge of ICT and a good grasp of administrative procedures .
• Considerable organisational, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Unquestionable integrity, a high sense of morality, maturity and drive for sound and impartial judgment.
