Job Description

Job Purpose
To deliver a high quality client service and customer retention approach to managing client and promoting Express savings products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Achieve agreed individual performance targets for deposit growth, income generation, product sales and new client growth targets.
  • Open, close and maintain accounts in accordance with the established procedures.
  • Accomplish tasks efficiently by showing concern for all aspects of the job, pay attention to detail and ensure that output is delivered at the highest possible standard
  • Initiate appropriate activities to ensure on time and scheduled response to customers.
  • Alert CSO with respect to any delays along with potential issues.
  • Alert BM of prospective sales opportunities which surface from discussions with clients.
  • Conduct evaluation of client’s accounts.
  • Collect mandatory information to analyze client situation.
  • Perform as key contact point for portfolio of clients dealing with routine matters throughout range of services and products.
  • To support the branch in all matters related to operations/sales/marketing and achievement of the branch deposit targets as defined by the BM. 
  • To maintain close relationship with customers, handle and resolve customers’ complaints and problems timely.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • First Degree in banking related field from recognized universities/ colleges.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

TECHNICAL 

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Confidence and Presentation skills
  • Understanding and interest in financial / banking products and markets
  • Ability to analyze and research information
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Good sales and negotiation skills

PERSONALITY

  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Possess a pleasant personality 
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to  work with little or no supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Problem solving skills
