Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

A Reputable Company

The successful candidate shall be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned market. He /She shall direct the sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company’s vision & values. The role reports to the Regional Managing Director.

 
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT
  • Responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly sales objectives in line with the Company’s business plan
  • Assist Account Managers in building solid pipelines and provide accurate sales forecast and timely input for business reviews
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of each area of the company’s products and services in order to evaluate recommendations before presenting to the Client
  • Masters and maintains vast knowledge of Client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Senior Solution Architect to develop customer solutions and associated business case and produce quality proposals and presentations
  • Establish performance targets for the sales team and monitor performance.
  • Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets
 

Required Skills or Experience

  • Degree in Marketing/ Sales  or equivalent Professional qualification
  • A postgraduate degree would be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 5-10 years track record of performance in sales growth of consistent high sales achievement, preferably within an ISP/ICT environment
  • Good understanding of solution selling concept
  • Ability to speak French is an added advantage.

  • Good analytical, systematic and strategic thinking ability
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Ability to spot opportunities and build plans to capitalize on them
  • Excellent Team player and Target driven
  • Strong skills in proposal formulation, report writing, presentation and negotiation skills
  • In-depth understanding of the Ghana and West Africa markets
  • Extremely organized with excellent project management skills
  • Strong background in MS Office(Microsoft Office Suite)
