Job Description

Job Summary

Role is ideal for an ambitious and energetic individual who would help us expand the organization’s clientele. The primary responsibility is to develop business for the tailor commercial programs that are run; these are targeted for the Banking and Finance Industry. The business development unit would play an active role in sourcing of business and should have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. The Business Development unit also plays a vital role in teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Required Skills or Experience

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Strong network within banking industry with a good knowledge of the banking system.
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Minimum BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Some teaching/ training experience required.
  • Must be very flexible
