Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of solar energy solutions is currently seeking to hire a proactive Sales Consultant to help with their operations in Ghana.

Role Profile

The successful candidate will initiate and maintain communication with all current and new sales leads, assist potential clients through the entire purchase and installation process, including education, evaluation, qualification, pricing and proposal-signing.

 

Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Contact new or existing customers to determine their solar equipment needs, suggest systems or equipment, or estimate costs.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, or presentations for potential solar customers.
  • Develop content for sales presentations or other materials.
  • Develop proposals for current or prospective customers.
  • Prepare sales or other contracts.
  • Provide customers with information such as quotes, orders, sales, and shipping.
  • Explain technical product or service information to customers.
  • Explain financial information to customers.
  • Gather information from prospective customers to identify their solar energy needs particularly pertaining to budget.
  • Provide technical information about solar power, solar systems, equipment, and services to potential customers or dealers.
  • Explain technical product or service information to customers.
  • Generate solar energy customer leads to develop new accounts.
  • Develop marketing or strategic plans for sales territories.
  • Demonstrate products to consumers.

Required Skills or Experience

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Sales/ Marketing or related field
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in sales or similar position
  • Business development experience is an added advantage

 

Requirement

  • Must have tract record of achieving sales target
  • Must have strong leadership Skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a fast learner
  • Must be trustworthy and ethical – High level of Integrity
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Proven record of high performance.
